Responsibilities

Maintain a high level of communication with the buying staff and store associates within the customer base.

Manage daily routines of customer service, including quotations, order management, and material analysis.

Maintain customer price sheets and recommend future price changes.

Provide sales and marketing analysis and expediting as required.

Correspond with Southwire sales agents responsible for the customer base.

Provide daily sales functions and on-site support at customer locations.

Quote prices, availability of products, and follow-up on quotes.

Receive, acknowledge, and process customer orders promptly.

Use Southwire Wire and Cable division’s ISO Quality System Documentation for guidance.

Initiate service requests and financial adjustments when necessary.

Coordinate assistance from Technical Support and Product Managers to resolve customer inquiries.

Keep field sales representatives informed on order status and customer concerns.

Achieve personal territory goals and support team members to meet departmental objectives.

Learn the Southwire product line in detail.

Monitor key measurements for the assigned territory and customers.

Required

Requires Bachelors degree.

At least two years business experience required. Retail sale experience preferred

Ability to travel at least once a month

Ability to work weekend trade shows

Must have Windows experience, as well as being proficient with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, and/or Powerpoint)

Must have good speaking and writing skills.

Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of responsibility at Southwire, along with industry representatives, and corporate buying staff.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and willingness to accept new responsibilities is a plus.
