Responsibilities
Help with the daily monitoring of merchant processing activity
Conduct investigations of suspicious merchant activity
Evaluate patterns in merchant processing activity and research against internal and external information sources
Review system and department generated reporting to identify potential processing issues
Answer incoming and make outgoing calls to customer base in a professional courteous manner
Log and notate customer interaction, follow-up on customer inquiries and research
Review faxed and emailed requests and inquiries
Read and interpret business and financial documents
Analyze merchant account activity alerts to identify suspicious transaction or processing issues
Communicate with merchants and issuing banks to manage appropriate actions
Complete assigned unit duties including reporting, reviewing, or processing
Handle escalated calls, negotiate resolutions, recommend process improvements, and work on special projects
Work with multiple computer systems during investigations
Address escalated calls or issues related to risk concerns
Understand and explain merchant contract terms and conditions, as well as Visa/MC Operating Regulations
Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Required
