Responsibilities

Work across product groups to build a network and facilitate collaboration for Falcon platform modules.

Create a vision and plan of action for building the Falcon Developer Relations community with engineering and business stakeholders.

Leverage Falcon platform development and modern tools to create app examples for customers.

Present at events on the Falcon developer experience and new APIs and Foundry capabilities.

Write documents, articles, and create video presentations to help customers understand Falcon platform development.

Engage with customers, partners, and ISVs through online Falcon developer groups and forums.

Required

7+ years of overall applicable experience in a product engineering role supporting a PaaS/SaaS product.

Proficient knowledge in coding any of the following backend languages: Go, Java, Python

Proficient with API integration, REST APIs, building SDKs over APIs in multiple languages (python, java etc)

Proficient with various development tools (Source control, test automation frameworks), CI/CD, docker/containers

Demonstrated expertise in building distributed systems, k8s microservices, REST APIs

Production experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Data storage: RDMBS, NoSQL, and Caching Technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, SQLServer, Redis, and/or MemCache.

BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge building web based UI applications - javascript, and related frameworks like Ember or React.

Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)

Prior conference presentations or online presentations of development topics

Go, Python, and Powershell experience

Prior experience in a Developer Relations, or similar, role

Prior experience with cybersecurity
