Responsibilities

Perform engineering designs such as geometric alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.

Create engineering documents like Typical Section Packages and Pavement Design Reports.

Utilize advanced MicroStation/GEOPAK/Open Roads processes with 3D modeling.

Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications with multi-discipline engineering teams.

Required

B.S. from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 5 years of transportation roadway design experience

Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida or the ability to obtain one within 6 months

Proficiency in MicroStation and/or Open Roads

Strong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM and Standard Plans

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment

Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required

Preferred

Experience working on limited-access projects

Experience working on alternative delivery / design-build projects

Experience with 3D corridor modeling
