Responsibilities
Fulfilling requirements as Engineer of Record for the design, permitting and construction administration of projects.
Preparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents.
Oversight of project design team including engineers, designers, consultants and clients.
Collaboration with other firm engineers, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.
Research, interpretation and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.
Development, implementation and utilization of CPH and client standards and templates.
Preparation of specifications, review of shop drawings, and construction administration support as Engineer of Record.
Periodic travel to perform business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation or review of subsequent reports and exhibits.
Oversight and assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submittal to agencies having jurisdiction.
Oversight and mentoring project Engineers, Designers and Technicians.
Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.

Required
B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a P.E. License in the state of Florida. Ability to obtain additional state licensure through reciprocity is a plus.
5+ years of US experience in design and permitting public or private projects.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Thorough understanding of project process from concept through construction.
Ability to consistently exercise good independent judgement in evaluation and determination of design solutions.
Stormwater management, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection system design experience.
Effective in providing instruction, teaching and mentoring in a positive and constructive manner.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
Superior social, communication, written and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
