Responsibilities

Leads business development activities such as client engagement, opportunity identification, team formation, proposal preparation, presentation, and project execution.
Drives performance of the transportation business and strategically grows market share.
Manages local client coordination and cross-selling efforts.
Integrates as the 'face of the company' locally and across the State of Florida.
Leads civil engineering projects, prepares and oversees project budgets, monitors external events, and supervises subcontractors, contract work, and employees.
Develops proposal and project scopes, timelines, pricing, and budgetary metrics.
Provides inputs to multi-disciplinary project teams and contributes high-level strategic advice to clients.
Develops local growth, forecast, and business development strategy.
Collaborates with Business Line Leaders to strategically drive the business and assess project performance.
Leverages technical experience to enhance service offerings and fosters the development of new innovations.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
15+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering, civil and infrastructure design.
Florida Professional Engineer license.
Demonstrated experience of leadership, personal accountability, persistence, and growth.
Ability to innovate and re-think the conventional approach to client and employee engagement.
Strong business acumen with an aptitude for improving processes.
Sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and creative business development capabilities across a multi-disciplined practice.
Strongly established relevant client relationships and industry contacts in the Florida Market.
Commitment to internal and external client service.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
