Responsibilities

Lead the Design process to ensure the design team creates visually stunning, responsive e-commerce websites for clients using platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce.

Research competitors and put together clear mood boards and design inspiration for each project

Work closely with internal team members and project managers to understand the clients business objectives, branding guidelines, and target audience to create custom website designs that align with their goals.

Collaborate with internal teams, including developers, marketers, and project managers, to ensure seamless implementation of design concepts and functionalities.

Utilize Figma or similar design tools comment and Q/A designs throughout the project.

Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure the visual components of websites across different devices and browsers looks accurate and cohesive.

Give final approvals and reviews for all design elements of the websites you are assigned

Communicate project timelines, progress, and challenges effectively to internal stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce website design, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to continuously improve our design processes and deliverables.

Contribute to the growth of our agency by actively participating in brainstorming sessions, sharing insights, and proposing innovative solutions to elevate our ecommerce design services.

Required

8+ years experience in Graphic Design and Web Design

8+ years experience as an E-commerce Website Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce website projects.

Proficiency in designing websites using platforms such as Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce, with a solid understanding of their respective ecosystems, themes, and plugins.

Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including UX/UI principles and CRO techniques.

Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles, ensuring optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and interact effectively with clients and team members.

Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of e-commerce website design and development.
