Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of data, generative AI, and machine learning-enabled microservices and their integration with front-end applications, including designing, coding, testing, deploying, documenting, and supporting the built products
Ownership of back-end code and APIs for AI products currently in development and future products
Definition of extensible and flexible serverless architectures to enable rapid iteration on product concepts
Integration and processing of data from various structured and unstructured sources
Maintenance of the code base, making fixes and improvements as necessary
Facilitation of data collection through external and internal APIs

Required
5+ years professional software engineering experience
Advanced Python skills
Microsoft Azure experience (or AWS / GCP)
Experience with SOA architecture (ideally microservices) and serverless
Experience with SQL, Spark or PySpark, NoSQL
Experience in an agile software development environment
Experience developing high throughput / low latency APIs
A highly organized, innovative, and collaborative individual capable of adapting to workflows
Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only to the most complex issues to more senior colleagues.
Preferred
Some exposure to generative AI (Large Language Models), machine learning, MLOps, LLMOps, or experience collaborating with AI engineers or data scientists would be helpful
