Responsibilities

Deploy the Yurts product on US government cloud environments using Infrastructure as code (Terraform).

Architect, implement, and maintain an installer for installing our software in an on-prem environment with re-using as many components as possible between that and the cloud version.

Implement, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across different environments.

Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, backing up, patching and deploying services.

Prepare packages required for Authorization to Operate (ATO), Certification to Field (CTF), and other security requirements presented by US Government Risk Management Frameworks (RMF).

Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities for mission-critical applications.

Collaborate with product DevOps team to establish best practices and company-wide guidelines.

Work closely with the software engineering team to integrate their project deliverables into customer production cloud and/or on-prem environments.

Troubleshoot complex system issues and work with customer, partner, and internal development teams to identify root causes and resolve them.

Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Stay current with new technologies and recommend innovative solutions that increase value and improve efficiency.

Enforce compliance with security best practices and policies.

Participate in the creation of the company's strategic IT roadmap.
