Responsibilities

Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of audio products.

Design and maintain test frameworks and test suites for various audio products.

Collaborate with the development team to understand product specifications and develop appropriate test strategies.

Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions and outputs.

Continuously improve the automation strategy and coverage by keeping up with the latest testing tools and techniques.

Required

Experienced QA engineer with solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Python proficiency needs to be Intermediate to Expert level with automation

Experienced in embedded software/systems which are built on Hardware, hardware-based testing with different configurations or firmware versions. QA engineer with solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Development of test cases, analyses of failures and articulating the very clear artifacts of configurations/failure/software used/hardware used/situations

Test planning and documenting

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Knowledge of source control systems, preferably Git.

Familiarity with Bluetooth protocols or similar wireless technologies, and/or Sensors.

Proven experience in testing Bluetooth products or similar wireless technologies.

Experience in working with different operating systems, primarily Linux.

Experience with bug tracking tools (i.e JIRA).

3-5 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on test automation and framework development.

Strong proficiency in Python programming.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Excellent debugging skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience in testing HW.

Experience in testing Bluetooth protocols/profiles.
