Responsibilities

Mentor all positions within the operational area to ensure high engagement and success; Maintain responsiveness and accessibility for the development of all operational team members.

Support, reinforce, and align decisions with Caliber’s Mantra and Core Values.

Train and develop Store Managers; manage career expectations for the store-level management team; convey standards. Ensure a constant pipeline of credible and competent managers is readily available.

Assist Store Managers to ensure car washes are delivering the Caliber Standard with exceptional Customer Experience and Quality.

Utilize support functions to identify and mitigate any needs in current business quality. Manage expectations of Support Managers in the planning, development, and execution of operational improvement projects.

Work with Store Managers to develop, implement, and manage a goal-oriented business plan for each car wash; analyze external and internal environments to detect where improvements may be made and how those improvements should be implemented.

Understand and deliver the purpose and requirements of all Company programs. Lead their respective Operational Area in the execution of these programs.

Maintain full responsibility for financial performance directly impacting car wash operations. Analyze business trends and financial data to assess and improve district performance, both operationally and financially.

Required

High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year relevant degree preferred

A minimum of 18 months of multi-unit management with a proven record of success is required, preferably in the car wash or similar quick-serve style industries

A minimum of 5 years of single-site management with a record of success in increasing the site’s volume and revenue or promotions to higher-volume sites

A minimum of six months (12 months preferred) as a Store Manager with Caliber

Team member must be in good standing and have a proven record of performance and management experience at multiple locations

Experience in an organization where there was specific career progression

Knowledge of the car wash industry, as well as a proven record of attaining KPIs

Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the store

Knowledge and skills in staffing, with a proven record of results

Proficient in a variety of technology systems (specifically Microsoft Office, Jolt, DRB, Sonny’s, and Asana), while being able to adapt to new systems easily

Ability to lead, motivate, and empower Caliber managers to higher levels of performance

Ability to align with Caliber Culture by balancing seriousness and having fun

Ability to manage basic tasks and fiscal operations for a District

Takes initiative in solving operational and personnel problems quickly

Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage all customer service interactions

Ability to recognize problems and problem-solve

Ability to recognize personal shortcomings and willingness to improve

Ability to set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action for individual Car washes and the entire district

Ability to measure performance, objectively and subjectively as well as hold team members accountable for meeting desired performance expectations
