Responsibilities
Representation on The GSA Whittaker Project.
Identify, manage, integrate and/or adapt resources to achieve project goals while effectively managing scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects.
Determine project risk and assess project activities and resources to mitigate risk on behalf of the government.
Manage all aspects of the project’s Budget and Change order including preparation, negotiation, presentation, approval, and communication of pricing.
Brief the GSA core team on costs, impact, feasibility, alternatives, issues, recommendations, and status of project development and implementation.
Providing oversight and administration throughout all phases of the project construction and inspection activities.
Providing Independent Assurance and Independent Oversight for the project.
Ensuring environmental, safety, and quality compliance and oversees MEP coordination throughout the construction process.
Actively monitor scope, schedule & budget and prepares cost estimates as needed.
Providing project oversight, support, technical advice, and performs contractor performance evaluations.
Ensuring inspection tasks are adequately covered and all project construction activities are accurately documented.
Conducting AOC meetings to resolve construction-related issues and partnering meetings to ensure stakeholder concerns are resolved.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Equivalent
20 years of experience in Facilities, development, and construction
Experience with Construction Manager as Constructor project delivery method for Facilities construction with a contract value of over $100 million
Certified Construction Manager preferred
Ability to obtain HSPD12
