Responsibilities

Collaborate with a tight-knit, cross-functional team to find solutions to customer challenges

Take ownership of building flexible, test-driven software that minimizes tech debt and enables change

Support, monitor, and maintain integrations with industry leading third-party platforms

Shape API driven services that are secure, compliant, and highly auditable

Enable an experience that is fully internationalized and localized for a global customer base

Promote engineering excellence through technical leadership, knowledge-sharing and mentorship

Enhance our testing, monitoring and continuous deployment infrastructure

Keep extremely sensitive data compartmentalized and secure

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

5+ years of professional hands-on backend software development experience

Strong object-oriented design and coding skills and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

Proven experience architecting solutions for complicated systems

Experience working on early stage products and building new feature from scratch, using clean, organized, and scalable code

Experience supporting other engineers and acting as a “tech lead”

Experience working using Agile/Scrum methodology in a fast-paced environment

Experience in a high-growth environment working with deadlines and milestones

Preferred

Experience working on software that enables money movement would be beneficial
