Required

Six years of office/clerical experience, which includes two years of lead experience; OR, Associate's degree in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field AND four years of clerical/administrative experience which includes two years of lead experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Preferred

Evidence of interpersonal skills, friendly, courteous and approachable demeanor, proactively engages in a spirit of service

Experience in working effectively and professionally with all levels of management and employees

Experience in communicating goals; motivating and guiding team members towards goal accomplishment and to understand and provide clear explanation of job requirements and performance expectations

Experience in relationship management skills to build and maintain relationships with managers, colleagues and employees throughout the University

Inspires collaboration and leads by doing. Skilled in encouraging collaboration in teams

Evidence of effective communication skills and in writing to provide clear direction to staff and effective attention to detail

Experience in problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

Experience in working independently with minimal supervision, in ambiguous situations, and perseveres over internal and external barriers to drive resolutions

Experience in managing multiple high-priority projects, requiring considerable coordination and follow-through

Experience in Microsoft Office and Google products

Experience in University office settings with prior understanding of the operations of college areas and programs
