Responsibilities

Design and develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Analyze workflows, space requirements, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure processes meet quality and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
Develop and maintain documentation for processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collect and analyze process data to monitor performance and identify trends.
Use statistical methods and software to optimize processes and solve problems.
Work closely with R&D, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless process integration.
Provide technical support and training to production staff.
Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception through implementation.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Ensure all processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
3+ years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong mechanical / electro-mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency in process simulation and design software (e.g., Excel, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

Experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus.
Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.
PMP certification is a plus.
