Marketing & Events Coordinator

Responsibilities
Follow project management schedule for events, meet deadlines set by the Senior Community Engagement Manager
Coordinate the production of event materials, including gathering and sending assets to the graphic designer and sending and picking up materials for print
Assist in scheduling models and instructors for events as needed
Produce signage, name tags, place cards and any other physical materials
Place orders, manage delivery and/or pickup of catering, supplies and equipment
Organize supplies, signage, and other materials the day of the event and storage post-event
Work with vendors onsite, including arrival times, delivery of items, coordination of vendor location, etc.
Organize and coordinate volunteers for events as needed
Develop online submission forms and send callouts to lists of artists
Coordinate drop-off and pick-up of artwork
Work with Senior Community Engagement Manager to hang artwork
Assist in sales of artwork at exhibition openings as well as e-commerce platform
Process payments for artist commissions
Work with Marketing Manager to advertise exhibitions on social media, email newsletters, Gage website, and online forums
Alongside the Marketing Manager, implement ad buys based on schedule and within a determined budget
Execute social media posts based on predetermined weekly/monthly schedule
Update website as directed by SEO consultants and Marketing Manager
Place orders with Graphic Designer and print vendor for printed collateral such as flyers, catalogs, and posters

Required
2+ years in Event Production experience
Interest and understanding of the fine arts field
Highly organized with a great attention to detail
Experience with administrative scheduling
Experience working with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Preferred
2+ years in Curatorial experience preferred
Familiar with art exhibitions and curatorial work
Educational background in Marketing, Communications, or Fine Art
Experience working in the nonprofit field
