Responsibilities
Collaborate with offices and/or schools to assemble, review, and analyze spending.
Establish, reconcile, and monitor fiscal activities to ensure appropriate use and accounting of funds.
Prepare, update, and review financial/grant reports.
Research and analyze complex information to resolve errors, modify data, and determine appropriate actions.
Design and build custom financial reports in various systems.
Synthesize data from multiple sources to create reports/presentations for internal/external customers.
Assist offices and/or schools with budget, forecasting, and trend analysis.
Provide customer-focused technical assistance to troubleshoot financial issues, questions, and communications.
Approve fiscal transactions such as payment requests, purchase orders, deposits, grant awards, and claims.
Coordinate federal drawdowns with internal/external entities.
Design, approve, and prepare financial/accounting documents.
Assist in updating and recommending changes in fiscal policies and procedures and in the CCIP.
Train agency staff on fiscal policies and procedures.
Assist with the administration of agency-wide fiscal lifecycle/workflows.

Required
Completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or 42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Analyst, 66562.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Preferred
NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
