Responsibilities
Complete the process of credentialing providers for the Community Medical Associates group
Re-credential providers every 120 days via CAQH
Coordinate with Medical Staff Office for timely credentialing of providers
Update physician roster lists with managed care organizations
Maintain Medicare 855A and 855B enrollments for providers
Update Provider Enrollment and National Plan & Provider Enumeration System
Serve as an educational resource to providers and staff on credentialing activities
Act as a liaison between billing staff and payers for reimbursement issues
Create ad hoc reports for various departments
Participate in hospital committees and projects
Attend continuing education seminars
Maintain timely credentialing matrix for accurate status updates
Communicate with IT analysts and Billing Office staff for billing corrections
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Perform other assigned duties

Required
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
2+ years of experience with physician and/or hospital billing or payer credentialing
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products (e.g Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
