Responsibilities
Preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, including Assessment and Authorization requirements.
Planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
Assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and proposing and implementing remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
Ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
Responding to computer security breaches, re-establishing protections, and making required reports.
Conducting security audits on IT infrastructure and managing appropriate scans and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) checklists.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce cybersecurity best practices.
Staying updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.

Required
Active Secret clearance
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
Certification as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I per DoD 8570.1M, depending on PWS tasking
Ten (10) years of experience in preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, including Assessment and Authorization requirements
Experience in planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network
Experience in assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and proposing and implementing remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
Experience in ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
Experience in responding to computer security breaches and re-establishing protections
Three (3) years of experience conducting security audits on IT infrastructure and managing appropriate scans and STIG checklists
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
A proactive attitude and a commitment to staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies
