Responsibilities

Leading and supporting the overall development life cycle of the Route Success and Driver Mobile App spaces, and managing complex projects with significant bottom-line impact

Overseeing a team of developers while providing clarity and direction as they evolve next-generation driver-facing products powering delivery and returns experiences

Working with product managers to develop a strategy and roadmap for industry-differentiating capabilities across various product lines and platforms

Instilling best practices for software development and documentation, ensuring designs meet requirements, and delivering high-quality work on tight schedules

Navigating prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management, and tracking of external commitments

Translating business requirements into technical solutions, recommending alternative technical and business approaches, and leading engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions

Monitoring the operational success of production services

Collaborating on and participating in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding strategies and processes

Maintaining a hands-on development focus about 25% of the time
