Responsibilities

Delivery of a reliable, scalable, secure Capacity Infrastructure Platform solution for 1st and 3rd party customers, contributing technical expertise throughout development stages.

Drives design, development and deployment of distributed systems components used globally by the Azure backend.

Model best security practices and drive improvements to ensure customer trust and reduce the exposure from potential security breaches.

Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.

Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve our products.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

3+ years of experience with cloud-based services, distributed systems or backend systems development

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR Python

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
