Complex Claims Analyst - General Liability

Responsibilities
Review loss notices and evaluate coverage for general liability claims.
Establish adequate reserves and investigate and handle claims.
Develop claim handling strategies including defense coordination, litigation strategy, and expense control.
Handle claims associated with commercial liability exposures including New York Labor Law, bodily injury, property damage, construction accidents, public entities, habitational losses, and professional liability.
Monitor, review, and coordinate multi-line insurance claims, analyze coverage, establish reserves, and resolve claims.
Participate in developing claim handling strategies and work collaboratively to develop creative solutions.
Deliver superior customer service to internal and external business partners.
Obtain and maintain claims adjuster licenses in states requiring licenses.

Required
3 years’ experience in claims or a related field
Creative problem solver
Committed to delivering great customer service and great claims handling
Ability to evaluate complex coverage and liability issues
Identify exposure
Communicate clearly and concisely with management and clients
Strong negotiator
Must obtain and maintain a claims adjuster license in states requiring licenses
