Responsibilities

Analyze performance and characteristics related to Internet, SaaS, and cloud-based services.

Write and publish reports and blogs based on analysis.

Present findings at industry events and brief media and customers on incidents and Internet health.

Serve as an Internet expert on behalf of ThousandEyes.

Required

Network operations experience and/or PhD or MS in Computer Science

Expert knowledge in Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, HTTP, etc.)

Familiarity with networking tools (e.g. tcpdump, ping, etc)

Proficiency in Python

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Existing portfolio of network measurement projects

Experience analyzing BGP routing streams
