Responsibilities
Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual material for various publications.
Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and identifies areas of use within the organization.
Reviews materials and information from internal customers to determine the most desirable presentation concept.
Maintains the look and feel of all publications in a consistent manner following brand identity guidelines.
Demonstrates exceptional use of typography, color theory, and design principles in all created pieces.
Works well under pressure, prioritizes projects, and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Works independently and collaboratively in a team setting, occasionally finishing another designer's project.
Builds and maintains knowledge of printing specifications, paper selection, and finishes.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior congruent with Christian values in all transactions and relationships.

Required
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Graphic Design, Art, Communications, or related field
1-2 years' experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Well-versed in all facets of design, including typography, color theory, and principles and elements of design
Forward-thinking and problem-solving skills
Staying abreast of industry trends in designs
Detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
Knowledge of printing specifications, paper selection, paperweights, and finishes
Consistently demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior congruent with Christian values
Effective communication both verbally and in writing
