Responsibilities

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment – field assessment, historical research, and report writing.

Collect field data including air, soil, and groundwater sample collection, logging of soil borings and monitoring wells, site inspections.

Prepare sections of Phase II reports.

Provide billable administrative support to Project Managers as requested.

Become thoroughly familiar with Atlas policies and procedures.

Required

Degree in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Sciences

3+ years’ experience with Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, site investigations, including site visits and report writing

Valid US Driver’s license

Perform field work under limited supervision and in accordance with Atlas and Client safety protocols

Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects with minimal supervision to meet established criteria

40 hr. OSHA HAZWOPER certification, current HAZWOPER refresher

Working knowledge of FDEP regulations

Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other widely used computer programs

Excellent skills in technical writing and verbal communications

Preferred

Working knowledge of EDR’s Parcel and Quire Platforms desirable

Ability to travel up to 25%, mostly within Florida

Desire to obtain relevant professional registration or certification, if not already obtained
