Responsibilities

Working with senior leadership and facilitating multiple stakeholder groups to identify portfolio priorities, define projects and associated milestones to deliver against these priorities.

Partnering with component and partner technology teams to align capacity with the portfolio and resolve capacity shortfalls.

Partnering with business analysts, product, and operations to ensure that scope is clear.

Maintaining and monitoring a list of key program-level dependencies including across application groups and proactively tracking through to completion.

Facilitating governance/key project level meetings and meeting the relevant information demands for those. Ensuring decisions are made within governance and identified governance meetings have clear agenda, quorum members, reports, and minutes published. Driving project adherence to the agreed project lifecycle.

Ensuring the project adheres to project risk and issue standards and maintaining the project risk and issue log (driving remediation/resolution activities through to closure). Driving effective escalation management of risks and issues from projects and releases into the program.

Managing stakeholder communications at all levels across the firm and will be responsible for maintaining a project stakeholder and communications plan.

Required

Formal training or certification in technology project or program management concepts and 10+ years applied experience.

Experience with software development best practices and experience establishing methods, tools, and process improvements for cross-team initiative.

Experience managing software projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.

Experience with Cloud Platform or Cloud technologies.

Demonstrated influencing skills with proven ability as an effective and compelling communicator in both meeting room and large audience settings.

Expertise in taking complex and controversial subjects, bring clarity and ultimately drive to decisions and operate in a highly collaborative, yet decisive and results-oriented manner.

Experience in building culture for agile operating model.

Ability to think strategically and creatively about business problems, break down problems and presents solutions while evaluating the pros and cons of each option.

Demonstrated skills as a transformational leader with conviction, who is able to help others adopt and implement new strategies within a large, complex matrixed organization.

Preferred

Experience in software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including build processes, testing, and operations.

Experience in building web-based applications. Proven expertise in thinking through software architecture & infrastructure decisions.

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering or a related technical field.
