Responsibilities
Work with system administration in a Windows and Redhat Linux operating system environment.
Install and test Windows and Redhat Linux updates and security patches.
Work with Active Directory, including managing group policy, users, and groups.
Implement and update Group Policy objects.
Manage Certificates for IIS websites.
Be responsible for securing and resolving vulnerabilities and managing File and permissions.
Provide operational and technical day-to-day support to end users.
Manage and maintain the IT hardware and software inventories.

Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. A DoD Secret level clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance CompTIA Security + CE.
Experience with Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Assured Compliance Assessment. Solution (ACAS), DISA STIG’s, and other DoD approved vulnerability scanning assessment tools.
Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience remediating SCAP and ACAS scan results
Familiarity working in an Agile environment.
Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and administering both Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience administering and managing Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and DNS.
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS for switch/router/IPS configurations.
Experience with Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
