Responsibilities

Ability to lead and work alongside shop floor employees
Strong communication skill to discuss/mentor at all levels throughout the plants
Collecting details to present project concepts to upper management
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors for project design and implementation
Improving efficiency, productivity, and quality through automation technologies
Designing, developing, and implementing automation and robotics solutions
Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for automation projects
Coordinating with teams for seamless integration of automation systems
Providing technical support and guidance during implementation and testing phase
Monitoring and evaluating performance of automation systems
Staying updated with industry trends and sharing knowledge with the team
Training plant staff on the use and maintenance of automation systems
Collaborating with vendors to evaluate and select automation equipment
Adhering to safety protocols and standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience and expertise in automation and robotics, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other automation technologies.
Experience with robotic hardware, software, and control systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex automation challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in automation and robotics technology.
