Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python.

Architect and lead the implementation of cloud-based applications and services on AWS.

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment.

Collaborate with teams to define and ship new features.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.

Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews.

Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in software development.

Proven experience delivering solutions making use of AWS.

Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.

Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, and code reviews.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Experience with web development technologies such as Node.js, React, Vue.js, or similar.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or similar.

Prior experience in a senior or lead engineering role.
