Responsibilities

Collaborate with FP&A Expense Analysts and other Finance, Risk, and Actuarial associates to understand and explain financial results and projections to management.
Perform monthly and quarterly financial analysis and management reporting.
Serve as the financial subject matter expert for an existing employee benefits product line.
Assist with developing projections for the annual budgeting cycles and forecasting processes.
Implement enhancements and automation to Employee Benefit's earnings and forecasting process and internal management reporting.

Required

Bachelor's Degree program in Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
Organizational skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines and produce accurate work
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience using complex files in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated and flexible.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills to work with and receive direction from a variety of associates and to prepare written documentation of work.
Knowledge of basic financial and accounting concepts to provide financial projection and analysis support.
Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to utilize the keyboard, computer and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 1-4 hours per day

Preferred

Experience with SAP
Knowledge of insurance principles and ability to apply them to a wide range of products
