Responsibilities

Collaborates with IT to prepare and manipulate structured and unstructured data for data discovery and mining from multiple disparate resources.

Builds high-end analytic models using supervised and unsupervised learning models to support decision makers with data-driven insights.

Creates informative visualizations that display large amounts of data and translates data analytics into coherent reports and presentations.

Specializes in machine learning, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, optimization, or advanced statistics.

Uses anonymized or encrypted data and prototypes solutions using varied resources.

Deploys models and reports into cloud-based environments and visualizes data utilizing modern BI tools.

Has advanced knowledge of machine learning modeling techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

Required

Master’s degree (or equivalent training/relevant experience) in fields that include strong coverage of applied mathematics and statistics, computer science, engineering, or related fields.

3+ years' experience working as a Data Scientist, preferably in a healthcare environment

Experience using R or Python to program machine learning models

Knowledge of deploying models and reports into cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)

Ability to visualize data and model results utilizing a modern BI tool (Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau, etc.)

Advanced knowledge of machine learning modeling techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, and NLP) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
