Responsibilities

Work with in-market partners to build best-in-market products

Collaborate with partners across Square to prioritize the customer journey

Define Square product strategy for Wave 2 markets aligned with the global direction

Understand customer needs and guide the team to ship remarkable solutions

Identify opportunities, propose impactful initiatives, and implement them

Collaborate with cross-functional partners throughout Square

Lead projects from discovery to launch in collaboration with engineering, marketing, and analytics

Influence key stakeholders to align intent, resources, and prioritization

Required

At least (8) years of relevant professional experience

A portfolio of multiple shipped projects on which you were the primary designer

The ability to articulate high-level team goals and connect your work to larger team or company initiatives

5+ years of experience working across native platforms and web

You plan, scope, and create work that contributes to a larger, long-term plan

You are an advocate for the customer

You take pride in the quality of your work and create professional, well-thought-out designs and presentations using established design systems

You work on challenging, wide-reaching projects for your team

You know when to go deep on a problem and create a comprehensive vision

You are comfortable conducting your own user research
