Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of the daily customer invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Apply all customer payments timely and accurately.
Reconcile customers’ account balances.
Review and manage all Accounts Receivable Aging accounts.
Collaborate with Sales Team to collect all Aging balances.
Ensure Credit Applications and Tax-Exempt Forms are completed and on file for customers.
Review audit reports and resolve invoice discrepancies regarding EDI process, discounts, fulfillments, etc.
Issue credit memos for returns, discrepancies, etc.
Handle customer requests for W-9s, ACH registration and signed purchasing vouchers.
Reconcile Intercompany monthly/quarterly/annual Sales Tax filings for states where organization has established nexus.
Consortium and state/government contract reporting.
Perform month-end close duties - balance sheet and income statement analysis and journal entries.
Ensure adherence to established standard operating procedures and assist in the development of establishing newly required processes.
Work within financial reporting systems implementing operating procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency of organization’s accounting practices; identify internal control issues and make recommendations to address.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
Minimum two years of experience in a similar role/responsibility.
Preferred
Working knowledge of NetSuite (or another ERP) highly preferred, but not required.
