Responsibilities
Performing all duties and responsibilities of a Material Handler.
Assigning activities to meet customer expectations based on production schedules and shipping requirements.
Loading and unloading trailers, utilizing manual and automated material handling equipment.
Taking physical inventory of merchandise and recording counts.
Assigning job duties to warehouse crew, monitoring work flow, and dispatching orders using Oracle WMS system.
Following company protocol for dispatching orders to drivers and receiving materials in the Purchase Order system.
Training new employees in Warehousing/Receiving practices and maintaining warehouse business during leader's absence.
Adhering to safety and hygiene guidelines, regulatory issues, and Leader Standard Work activities.
