Responsibilities
Produce deliverables for use in all products in the Mainframe division teams, working directly for the Director of UI and UX strategy.
Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, design, code, and test innovative applications, and contribute to the strategic roadmap.
Build user interfaces and experiences with the in-house component library used by all Broadcom’s Mainframe software products.
Provide thought leadership and storytelling on supporting the evolution of digital procurement tools through design.
Analyze, debug, and assist in problem-solving in both development and production environments. Actively support and contribute to end of iteration demos.

Required
Knowledge and experience in Frontend Development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, React.
Knowledge of MVC, MVVM architectural patterns in front-end architectures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience: Bachelors and 5+ years of related experience or Masters degree and 3+ years of related experience or PhD and no experience.
Preferred
Passion for user experience and improving UI.
Comfortable writing custom Javascript and applying off-the-shelf solutions.
Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js.
Experience in collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.
Experience in problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
