Responsibilities

Assists the Clinic Director with supervising therapists and oversees training new staff to ensure clinical integrity of programming and that regulatory standards are met.
Contributes to 90-day evaluations and annual reviews of clinical staff.
Assist Clinic Director with auditing of charts to ensure compliance in participation with the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Process.
Review charts relating to accurate and timely completion of documentation.
Provide oversight of individual, family and couples therapists to ensure compliance with Mindful Health policies and processes.
Help to disseminate information from leadership to therapists as needed.
Attend daily Flash meetings and complete follow up items presented during the meeting.
Monitor clinical documentation and discharge planning to ensure regulatory compliance.
Leads regularly scheduled Treatment Team meetings for PHP/IOP and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Ongoing and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members.
Demonstrate an understanding of utilization review and criteria for continued stay and discharge.
Familiar with external referrals for individual, couple, and family therapy Provide or assign individual psychotherapy sessions.
Provide or assign group psychotherapy and psycho-educational groups according to PHP/IOP program schedule.
Provide or assign family therapy sessions.
Monitors to ensure completion of psychosocial assessment within 24 hrs. of admission to PHP/IOP.
Provide clinical support to staff weekly and as needed.
Lead in developing the interdisciplinary treatment plan, with clients in PHP/IOP programming, outlining focus for treatment, goals, and interventions.
Document all clinical encounters with individuals, couples, families, and groups clearly and concisely, demonstrating the therapeutic process.
Ensure ongoing evaluation of clients’ diagnosis, psychosocial stressors, strengths, and opportunities for growth.
Ensure the evaluation of clients’ progress using identified outcome measures and adjust treatment plan accordingly.
Assist client and family with PHP/IOP discharge planning, including community resources and referrals.
Evaluate day to day programing with other clinicians to ensure quality care.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.
Ensures client satisfaction and participates in addressing complaints and grievances, as they arise.
Conduct community groups to promote healthy lifestyles and wellness in the community.
Maintain a positive, professional image in the office and in the community.
Participate in QA/QI process, ensuring that services are evidenced based, Maintain regular work hours, being on time and managing time well.
Demonstrates personal characteristics of patience, tact, cheerfulness and enthusiasm toward the administration and clients. Must be able to appropriately respond to all types of behavior.
Any additional duties that facilitate the effective operations of the programs and services provided.

Required

A master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, or behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
The Program Manager must be actively licensed (LPC/LCSW) in the State of Texas to provide independent clinical care, treatment, and services.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical assessment & diagnosis with a focus on the treatment and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges (preferred).
Experience in a group programming setting such as Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Services and knowledge of the group therapeutic setting.
Willingness to pursue certification in valued treatment modalities.
Current CPR Certification
