Responsibilities
Integral member of the global DevOps team that automates and operates the global cloud data plane for customers
Architect features for automation towards service delivery, scalability, and reliability
Provide operational support including monitoring, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance
Design, code, review, test, operationalize, support, and document software for automation and CI/CD functionality
Collaborate with multi-site global teams and provide on-call support as needed
Serve as a technical lead and mentor for other team members

Required
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
Five (5+) years working in DevOps engineering teams delivering and operating cloud native scalable applications (automation and operations)
Expertise with cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud native micro-services architecture, REST APIs, Terraform, ELK and CI/CD tools (helm, Jenkins)
Operational experience in CI/CD, deployment, testing, monitoring, logging, and support of cloud native systems
Expertise working on Linux and programming in python and scripting languages
Effective and engaging communication as well as writing skills
Experience working on and knowledge of networks and networking concepts
Public Cloud DevOps experience, preferably on Oracle Cloud
Preferred
Experience working on Oracle Cloud
Experience working with databases, proxies (squid), and service mesh architectures
Experience working with security products – firewalls, web gateways, and proxies
