Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of reports, cost estimates, and construction material quantities.

Visit project sites as a member of the design team.

Use computer-aided design and engineering software to draft working plans and detailed drawings.

Analyze and revise maps, charts, exhibits, diagrams, as-built maintenance records, and layouts for design projects.

Participate in initial design studies, project planning, and associated tasks that contribute to the overall project design.

Required

Enrolled in an ABET accredited university working towards a Bachelor of Science degree.

Completed core civil engineering coursework and currently taking upper-level division coursework.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office Suite software.

Physical ability to work in both office and field environments, including exposure to various work conditions.

Physical demands include sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, occasional operation of a company vehicle, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
