Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards, organizational goals, and risk management strategies.
Identify and prioritize program initiatives, ensuring alignment with VA's priorities and efficient allocation of resources.
Define program scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with VA stakeholders and leadership.
Establish and monitor program budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring successful project execution and resource allocation.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive program status reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Mentor and lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering their growth, collaboration, and technical expertise.
Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, integrating them into program strategies and practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for program management processes, methodologies, and documentation.

Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing cybersecurity and risk management projects and programs at large scale federal departments/agencies (e.g. VA, DOD, DHS, HHS, etc.)
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a program manager accountable for delivery for at least 10 cybersecurity professionals with a duration of greater than one year
CISSP or PMP Certification
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Cybersecurity or related fields
