Responsibilities
Serve as hands-on, technical lead in the selection of products for customer applications with minimal oversight.
Design and document custom pump solutions by constructing solid models, assemblies, and drawings with SolidWorks.
Perform Installation and Operation Qualifications (IQ/OQ) at customer locations.
Work with internal and external manufacturing partners to ensure proper product design and delivery.
Contribute and lead peer-to-peer design reviews for automated filling systems.
Prepare engineering change orders and documentation.
Work cross-functionally to address field issues and defects to determine root-cause and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Serve as the mentor and lead to the Life Science Engineering Team.
Some domestic and international travel is required (up to 30%).

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with 4 years related product and market experience, including 2 years in a GMP biomanufacturing environment
Experience with FDA and ISO standards a plus
Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems
Ability to resolve problems independently and take appropriate action in a timely manner
Exceptional oral and written communication skills required to communicate with internal and external resources
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Functional knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus
Quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed
