Responsibilities

Implements a quality assurance process for monitoring accuracy of pre/post contracting actions.
Manages extensive contact between personnel and customers relating to changes in policies/regulations as changes occur.
Evaluates overall performance of employees to identify developmental or training needs required to perform the duties of the job assigned.
Advise Customers/Management/Command regarding contracting/procurement policy issues.

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees
One year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level, including planning work, reviewing contract/procurement actions, and analyzing metrics
52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13)
Obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance
Submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450
Written tenure agreement to remain in Federal service for at least three years
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination through a background investigation
Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time
Meet position requirements for Contracting Professional within 36 months of entrance on duty
Written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration
Proof of U.S. Citizenship required
One year trial/probationary period may be required
Direct deposit of pay is required
Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter
