Responsibilities

Build backend systems and features spanning across core Uber services like Matching, Pricing, Fares, Fulfillment.

Produce high-quality design and execute on them to enhance features for the Uber Reserve Product.

Work closely with Science and PM teams to ideate/experiment and evaluate features for millions of Uber Reserve riders and drivers.

Maintain a high bar for engineering quality by participating and driving engineering excellence challenges to ensure system stability.

Machine LearningLarge Scale Problems

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 1-year full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 1-year total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: Programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go)

Preferred

Previous experience on applied Machine learning is a plus

Previous experience working on large scale problems is a plus
