Responsibilities

Supervises installation and start-up of SCR systems.

Performs as a site engineer, engineering coordinator, and start-up engineer for systems.

Develops new equipment and techniques including selection and evaluation of hardware and software.

Transfers operating know-how to SCR customers by training, publications, discussions, presentations, and other forms of communication.

Trains new employees about the SCR process.

Makes suggestions on how to improve SCR equipment and processes.

Answers technical questions posed by existing and prospective SCR customers and new employees.

Produces daily progress reports during startups and field service visits.

Writes trip reports after customer visits.

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering

Fluent in one of the following languages: Hindi, Chinese, Arabic or Russian

Ability to communicate design information from various documents

Ability to focus efforts towards successful completion of the project

Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing requirements

International travel required, up to 50%, for several weeks duration at a time

Tenacity and ability to work with a diverse group of international customers

Minimum supervision required to accomplish tasks

Manage heavy project documentation and write procedures and manuals

Recall, locate, summarize, and communicate answers to questions posed by SCR customers

Preferred

Ability to use AutoCad is desired
