Responsibilities

Become knowledgeable with product blueprints and specifications

Review products for improvements; cost savings or product performance

Review products identified to be difficult for operations to manufacture

Review products identified to have poor quality

Identify new market areas in the United States or how to expand our market share

Tracks projects

Launch crating, product and jobsite procedure training for Quaker employees

Develop and manage the Product Management budget consistent with Quaker's strategic plan

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Engineering, Purchasing, Service, Sales and manufacturing staff

Prompt and regular attendance at an assigned work location

Interact and communicate with employees and customers in an appropriate manner

Availability on site to confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on a regular basis

Communicate via email, prepare reports and work schedules

Review and analyze data and information concerning service work by department

Plan, prioritize and monitor product launch activities

Oversee the completion of projects in a timely manner
