Responsibilities
Design creative enablement solutions that focus on technical skill development.
Facilitate deep technical concepts via hands-on workshops with a focus on the learner's ability to understand and retain key objectives.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive innovation.
Partner side by side with instructional designers, architects, and subject matter experts to ensure programs meet engineering and business goals.
Conduct needs assessments across the organization to discover opportunities for improvement in current programs and determine the need for new learning solutions.
Work with the Learning team to create blended learning solutions by leveraging other programs and platforms.
Capture metrics showing learner transformation and application of learning content/activities.
Manage day-to-day program operations and ensure the success of each program and service to the business.

Required
Hands-on experience as a software engineer, ideally in a large organization, with a focus on delivering solutions that are scalable, elegant, and performant.
General understanding of object-oriented programming. Ideal candidates have a background in Java development or similar languages (Java, Javascript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python). Full-stack experience is a bonus.
Proven understanding of web application development.
Understands the software development life-cycle. Can work effectively with subject matter experts, asking them the right questions and collaborating with them to write and build on a compelling learning journey.
Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and identify where learning opportunities can benefit other engineers.
Effectively influence at all levels of the organization using data and experiential feedback.
Can influence and set direction with senior leaders and technical architects within a fast-paced, growing organization.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and be resourceful; does not require extensive supervision and direction & works collaboratively with global/remote teams.
Has exceptional program management and organizational skills. Can lead programs from inception to successful completion.
Is an experienced and dynamic facilitator, presenter, storyteller, and coach. Is comfortable working across an organization, from individual contributors to senior leaders.
Preferred
Background in Java development or similar languages (Java, Javascript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python). Full-stack experience is a bonus.
