Responsibilities

Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs

Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs

Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team

Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise

Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews

Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed

Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members

Required

5+ years of applications development and batch programming experience with C in Unix/Linux

Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, complex SQL work experience and query tuning expertise

Experience working with Rules Engine would be a plus and BPA Rules Sheets

Expertise in Batch job automation and notification services

Preferred

Java and/or .NET experience is a plus

Healthcare/Medicaid work experience is a plus

Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)

Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
