Responsibilities

Leverage domain expertise to identify process improvements and drive business performance
Independently define analytical approach, develop and optimize KPIs, and implement scalable data processes
Serve as a company-wide asset for accessing and retrieving complex data from a wide variety of subject areas and diverse sources
Solve complex and ambiguous analytical problems, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and derive recommendations that impact multiple teams
Train stakeholders on data best practices, communicate and enforce data standards, and provide clear guidance
Work on multi-team projects, set long-term vision, influence roadmaps, manage project resources, and coordinate stakeholders

Required

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Experience with Excel (including pivot tables and function)
Experience with SQL and understanding database structures
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Business/Data Analytics, or related technical/engineering field

Preferred

Master's Degree
Experience working with scripting languages such as Python
Working knowledge of AWS tech stack (e.g., S3, Redshift, QuickSight, Sagemaker)
Experience solving ambiguous analytical problems
Strong communication and writing skills
