Responsibilities

Lead a team of product designers to deliver end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products.

Present creative ideas and plans to peers, leadership, and engineering contributors.

Balance inputs from various departments and external partners to create a network of cross-functional partners.

Provide creative thought leadership and drive UX design solutions by combining industry best practices with expertise.

Lead design teams in ideation and concept explorations.

Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and other internal partners to define strategy & experience of consumer-facing products.

Collaborate with product owners and engineers to successfully deliver products to market.

Provide updates to leadership and address blockers for the team.

Maintain a critical eye and obsessive attention to detail.

Champion a healthy and collaborative culture for the product organization.

Required

10+ years industry experience in the field of UX/Product Design

7+ years of experience managing and developing diverse design teams

Proven experience working on a commerce experience in the past that focused on - account management, purchasing a subscription service, and/or downgrading and/or cancelling a service, authorization, and or transactions

An online portfolio reflecting that experience, including shipped and currently in-market products, and demonstrating end-to-end design methodology

Advanced expertise with leading design tools, including the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Sketch, Figma, and other collaboration and prototyping tools

Past experience leading a team of 5 or more individuals

Past experience working on a commerce product that entails a commerce journey

Demonstrated expertise and experience designing for web, mobile, and other application platforms

Preferred

A degree in design, computer science, human factor design preferred
