Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between customer, sales, and manufacturing.

Review order entry, check against estimate, and ensure proper materials are ordered.

Create layout and job ticket to meet customer requirements.

Create purchase orders for vendors.

Ensure proofs and samples are delivered on time.

Communicate job status with customers, sales, and internal departments.

Monitor pre-production and post-production activities.

Create and file change notices for each order.

Provide shipping tally sheets and required documentation for customers.

Forward order file and documentation to billing for invoicing.

Maintain files and records on customers and orders.

Perform other assigned duties.

Required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) a plus.

Must have above average verbal/phone and written/email communication skills in English.

Must also possess solid math, typing, and computer skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Must have ability to use measuring and office equipment, as required by the position.

Strong attention to detail

Ability to multi-task

Require an understanding of printing processes, in line finishing, and pre-press and bindery operations.

College degree in business or graphic arts management preferred.

Require a minimum of 8 years of experience in Sheet Fed or Digital printing processes, preferably in a customer service/project management capacity. Willing to train if candidate is not experienced in both Sheet Fed and Digital.

Experience in mail, prepress and/or bindery operations very helpful.
