Responsibilities

As a Principal Product Manager, you'll play a vital part in shaping the Cost Management process to ensure supply chain efficiencies and build data integrity across merchandising, supply chain, procurement, and finance.
You are responsible for your product end to end to drive value to Albertsons Enterprise and Customers shopping omni channels.
You don’t stop at vision and building product, will take the product to the market (end users) for successful adaption, open to learn the feedback and improve.
You'll be required to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries across process and technology, to test, develop, and implement disruptive new ideas and opportunities producing value.
You are responsible for fostering healthy stakeholder relationships, while being comfortable to challenge to find viable and valuable solutions in short spurts while furthering longer strategic solution investments.
You are the catalyst to drive cross-functional alignments for your Product area, establishing the product vision, and execution of the roadmap along with in merchandising, and other enterprise functions: digital, marketing, SCM, and finance stakeholders.
You own the product backlog and prioritization, managing expectations, dependencies, and resolve blockers coming your way in pursuit of value realization through the product your team is building.
You are in the trenches along with your direct and extended teams on a day-to-day basis to identify challenges, root causes, then solution and hypothesize for continuous process and product improvements.
You will be spending 25% in product strategy definition and alignment, 75% in product execution.

Required

Strong customer obsession, strategic mindset, critical thinking, bias for action, data savvy, visual storytelling, technical proficiency and comfort to alternate between modern cloud native tech stacks to legacy mainframes and SaaS
Retail Merchandising and/or Supply Chain knowledge, being an SME in Pricing/ Promotions/ Allowances/ Cost Management domain knowledge is an added advantage
Deep experience of building and launching complex custom merchandising and/or supply chain product platforms for a Fortune 100 companies
Driven by passion to solve challenges in a way that creates a competitive advantage for the business in serving omni channel customers
Ability to think the big picture but also willing to roll up sleeves to solve immediate challenges while focusing on long-term strategy and value
Demonstrable track record for innovation and producing value at cross sections of people, process, and technology, with empathy for end users
Embodiment of the Agile philosophy by its intent, always iterating and improving on the process with a purpose and not just for the sake of adhering to the ceremony
Highly analytical with the ability to traverse between strategic business decisions and their quantitative implications
Strong oral and visual communicator who can dissect and visualize complexities in a simplistic fashion
Comfortable operating in the complete spectrum of product and program management, being the visionary in setting the course and the navigator in executing the vision
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, engineering, business, or related field. Masters Preferred with preference to MBA
Minimum of 8+ years' experience in product management, management consulting, or technology
